Chicago's museum campus runs along the east side of the South Loop, while Printers Row lies in the northern half of the neighborhood. Sites including the Adler Planetarium, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, McCormick Place and Soldier Field are some of the world famous venues that are found here. Grocery stores including Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are located nearby and while a car can be useful, this neighborhood is also easily navigated by bike or on foot.
High rise apartments in the neighborhood lie just south of Chicago’s Loop business district and feature some of the newest buildings with the most modern amenities. Many residents choose the South Loop neighborhood for its convenient location to the Loop, the L and it's easy on/off access to the highway.
